There is nothing as changeable as the human heart. It can be moved to goodness or to evil, engender great creativity or great destruction, or manifest the qualities of a Buddha or of the devil of the sixth heaven. The correct teaching of Buddhism—faith in the Daishonin’s teachings—guides people’s hearts in the direction of good, construction, and happiness.
