Buddism teaches the principle that life inherently possess the functions of good and evil—that good and evil are essentially one. No matter how right a cause may be, if it is defeated by evil, it only ends up aiding evil and being counted as evil itself. Because right is defeated by evil, our world continue to suffer as it does.
