To raise people, it is important to offer encouragement and guidance tailored to the individual. To illustrate, not all plants and trees will necessarily grow simply because the sun is shining. Some may be in the shade, shut off from the light, or be attacked by harmful insects. Some may lack sufficient nutrients. Only when they are regularly given the appropriate care to address their specific circumstances and needs can plants grow.
The same is true in the world of faith. If we compare the announcement of activity guidelines or the encouragement given to members at meetings to the light of the sun, then visiting members at their home or giving personal guidance can be likened to caring for the specific needs of each plant or tree.

信心の世界も同じです。活動の打ち出しや、会合での全体的な指導を、太陽の光とするならば、一本一本の草木に適した手入れをすることが、家庭指導、個人指導といえます。
